Karishma has accumulated a rich experience of 16 years across Diplomatic Missions, in fostering bi-lateral trade relationships between India, New Zealand and Australia. She has extensive exposure to a gamut of areas of Corporate Services, Developing Business Strategies & Management and Finance. Karishma has previously worked with the Government of New South Wales as a Regional Business Manager and held various leadership positions with The New Zealand Consulate General and The British Deputy High Commission.
She has an excellent network with Diplomatic Missions, Protocol, Federal and State Government Authorities which has helped her to seamlessly execute operations in India. She is known for introducing cost-reduction initiatives, making high-stake decisions and efficiently attaining process excellence at minimal costs. Her expertise lies in building operational prowess, decision making, disseminating policies and developing organizational structure.
With a Post-Graduation in Financial Management, Karishma’s academic background informs her approach in augmenting operational efficiency something she is now passionate about bringing to the social sector. On a personal front, Karishma loves travelling and is a professional choreographer and a trained classical and folk dancer.
