With over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships, Nooreen is committed to expanding Educate Girls’ presence and impact across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the broader Asia Pacific region.
From 2011 to 2014, Nooreen worked with Educate Girls in India, where she played a pivotal role and contributed to the creation of Team Balika (community champions for girls’ education). She also managed the organization’s communications, amplifying its mission and driving global engagement.
Her hands-on experience collaborating with the program team in India gives her valuable insights into operational challenges and community-led solutions, strengthening her ability to build meaningful connections with impact-driven partners.
Nooreen has led high-impact initiatives at ygap and Melbourne Business School. At ygap, she drove donor engagement and fundraising for accelerator programs supporting women entrepreneurs, advancing gender equity and social impact. At Melbourne Business School, she managed philanthropic projects and strategic partnerships, fostering innovation and expanding scholarships.
As part of Educate Girls’ global fundraising team, Nooreen focuses on securing major gifts, building strategic collaborations with corporate and institutional partners, and enhancing the organization’s visibility across the region. She is also establishing a regional advisory committee to strengthen community engagement and foster sustainable partnerships.
With a background in Strategic Communication Management and an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship, Nooreen brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and impactdriven leadership.
Outside of work, Nooreen enjoys painting, traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending time with her family, especially her daughter, nurturing her growth with values of bravery, happiness, and kindness while creating meaningful memories together.
